The Powered to Teach Mathematics Masterclass is a 20-week, 8-module professional learning series designed to help teachers of mathematics, regardless of their years of experience, improve their practice. Designed as a subject specific adaptation of our Powered to Teach Masterclass, teachers get an immersion into professional learning activities to develop their mathematics content knowledge as well as their mathematics knowledge for teaching. Our aim is to offer high quality professional support that will empower every teacher to bring instructional excellence in their mathematics classrooms. The programme is designed to build capacity in teachers through a series of workshops and coaching sessions that target teachers’ professional development in data driven lesson planning and mathematics assessment development. The key feature of this series is the completion of anchoring projects embedded in teachers’ daily activities that give them an opportunity to put their learning into practice in real time. Teachers will leave the programme more confident and better equipped to execute their instructional responsibilities.  The program concludes with the awarding of a competence statement outlining the knowledge and skills the teacher has acquired over the period.
